The Texas A&M women’s Southeastern Conference opener against Vanderbilt, originally scheduled for Thursday at Reed Arena, was postponed in accordance with conference COVID-19 management protocols.

Positive cases, contract tracing and quarantining within the Vanderbilt program caused the SEC to call off the game. A makeup date has not yet been determined.

The No. 23 Aggies (10-2) now will open conference play Saturday at No. 19 LSU (11-1).
